Wellbeing at Home – The following program has been designed to provide holistic wellbeing tools for parents and carers of children and young people who are struggling – Are you finding parenting harder than you expected? Are the pressures of parenting creating tension in your relationship? Do you find yourself getting angry at your baby/toddler more often than you’d like? Are you finding it hard to enjoy the time you spend with your family?

Family Constellation therapy – What Is Family Constellation Therapy? “Family/systemic constellation therapy is a short-term group intervention aiming to help clients gain insights into and then change their inner image of a conflictual system and finally change their behaviour in relation to that same system” Family constellations are not limited to specific diagnoses, but they can be beneficial for those struggling to overcome traumas experiencing complicated feelings after the death of a relative, or various mental health diagnoses, including depression and anxiety.

Qi Gong workshop- Qigong can be described as a mind-body-spirit practice that improves one’s mental and physical health by integrating posture, movement, breathing technique, self-massage, sound, and focused intent. Qigong opens the flow of energy in meridians used in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. It enhances our ability to feel the Life Force underlying the physical world and to deepen our communication with it. Physically, slow gentle qigong movements warm tendons, ligaments, and muscles; tonify vital organs and connective tissue; and promote circulation of body fluids (blood, synovial, lymph). 

Firewalking – One of the benefits of going through the firewalk is building strong connections with those who do the activity with you. When you support each other verbally and emotionally, you can increase the value of the shared experience and create bonds that will never be broken. Most people are hesitant when it comes to Firewalking and think, “Can I really do this?” But after they do it, it is as if it were never a question to begin with. Accomplishing something that you initially thought was unreachable shifts your perspective of what you think you are capable of in an indescribable way and ripples to all elements of your life.

Voice and Bodywork Workshop for Wellbeing – the benefits of body and vocal work for wellbeing has exponentially increased during the last decade. Over and over these tools have been proven to effectively reduce stress, pain, and muscle tension as they help to produce endorphins (the body´s own painkiller) as well as reducing levels of adrenaline and cortisol and increasing dopamine. Research also indicates that supplementing mental health treatment with bodywork can be useful for individuals who have trauma, anxiety, depression, and addictions.

Apart from this, continuous vocal and body work builds up our confidence and stimulates creativity. When shared with others it supports bonding, openness and trust in others. It also teaches us how acknowledge and be in touch with our bodies, our feelings and our intuition and to be more present and mindful.

We have delivered a days workshop to the amazing Ukrainian refugee women that live in Pembrokeshire. It was an honour to listen to their voices, their stories and their dreams and to share a bit of healing through voice and bodywork exercises with them.
